Stay at Home
Snuggle up in winter and watch netflix (available in 3 different rooms)  play chess, build a jigsaw or board games: Monopoly, Trivial Persuit, Scrabble plus more. An extensive eclectic library for both children and adults.
In summer play bocce or finska outside, go for  walks, say hi to the cows, kick the footy or soccer ball - lots of space!

Every Saturday morning 8.30 to noon. Great opportunity to buy up local very yummy produce -  bring it home and cook up a storm.

  • Salopian Inn – lunch and dinner always brilliant and only 8 minutes away at the bottom of our hill. Lash out and try the degustation menu – its hard to beat.
  • Darry’s Verandah - Amazing! But need to book well in advance usually lunch only with two sittings on Sunday – 10 minutes away
  • Maxwells – for lunch -great food and views
  • Coriole – for lunch – great food and views
  • Vasarellis – Lunch and dinner - Authentic Italian – cosy. Main Road McLaren Vale

Day trips – Whale-watching, Bike riding and Bird Watching and Lunch
  • Whale watch at Middleton and sometimes Victor Harbour during spring and summer
  • Port Elliot – some lovely boutiques and antiques – its got style  Check out the surf and sometimes whales at Middleton.
  • Strathalbyn – for antiques and country ambience
  • Picnic at Deep Creek Conservation Park – 15 walking trails provide spectacular scenery of Backstairs Passage and Kangaroo Island. Google Deep Creek Conservation Park
